3 De-Stress tips from the Stressed

High levels of stress is common among college students. We work on group projects, write intensive papers, and study for those difficult tests so much that we barely have time to relax and de-stress. With midterms coming up, here are a few tips to get rid of that horrible stress in your life:


Exercise is a great way to increase endorphins and make you feel better through out the day. A 20 – 30 minute workout can improve your mood for the rest of the day.

Get Sleep

No more Breaking Bad at 11pm on Sunday nights. Turn off the television, get some sleep and watch your missed television shows during your down time in the day. Not only will you feel refreshed in the morning, but you will have something to do when you’re bored in between classes.


It’s great to have quiet study hours but it’s also beneficial to study in groups. Studying in groups can allow you and others to share concepts and ideas to make learning easier. Socializing while you’re studying is also a great way to get your mind off the topic.
