Associated Students Programs

Aquatic Center - The Aquatic Center is open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Sac State as well as the general public. All students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Sac State receive a discount with their Sac State identification card. Our facility occupies eight acres of land and is one of the finest in the state.

Children's Center - affordable, dependable and convenient child care for student, staff and faculty parents.

Community Service - Community Service Events is a volunteer based program which serves as an outlet for students who are interested in giving back to the community.

Government & Leadership - Associated Students is governed by an elected Board of Directors that represents the student body of Sacramento State. Student representation and advocacy is our passion. We are committed to providing all students with the opportunity to be fully involved in the governance of the University and the development of an exciting campus life.

Green Sting - We are a volunteer program run by the students of Sacramento State with the objective of promoting charity, athletic, and other activities that build a campus life.

KSSU Radio - KSSU is dedicated to providing Sac State students with a radio-broadcasting learning experience. KSSU is run entirely by Sac State students.

Office of Governmental Affairs - Informs students of CSUS about the different political issues that affect both them and their State related to higher education, as well as lobby the State Legislature on behalf of the students and the Board of Directors

Peak Adventures - ASI Peak Adventures is the outdoor program designed to serve the campus community of California State University, Sacramento, and the other communities in the Northern California region. We provide recreational and educational opportunities through guided outdoor trips, ropes course programs, clinics and classes on many outdoor subjects. Peak Adventures also boasts a full-service bike shop and equipment rentals.

Safe Rides - Safe Rides provides free, safe, and confidential rides home to the students, staff, and faculty of Sac State. The Safe Rides Program is designed to prevent incidents related to drinking and driving that lead to accidents, DUI/DWI arrests, and death.

Student Life & Services Center - The Student life & Services Center is an Associated Students program located on the 1st Floor of the University Union dedicated to providing students with information about Off-Campus Housing, Scholarships, Jobs, Clubs and Organizations, and Voter Registration, as well as free local faxes for Sacramento State students. We specialize in finding students rental housing such as apartments, rooms for rent or duplexes.
