Introducing… #ASIsummerfun☀️

Your best summer ever doesn’t have to take place at a five-star resort in Cabo San Lucas. There are many amenities right here in SacTown that are available for you to utilize. ASI is here to offer all you Hornets the perfect antidote if you’ve found yourself coming down with the case of bored beyond belief. This summer ASI is introducing an interactive summer social media campaign, called #ASIsummerfun, to help motivate you off your couch and away from your Netflix account. ASI is challenging all of you to get out, explore the area around you, and enter in a chance to win big in the process. #ASIsummerfun is opportunity knocking for the best summer ever!

Those who participate will be entered in a chance to win a MEGA prize pack. ASI will be picking one winner each week, for the duration of four weeks. Contest is set to run from Monday, July 17 through Friday, August 11.

  • ASI Hotspot – Office located on campus, first floor of The WELL

The ASI Hotspot is home to ASI’s Student Engagement and Outreach (SEO) which includes the A-Team, KSSU, Safe Rides, Food Pantry administration. The SEO department is to enhance the collegiate experience of Sac State students by increasing their awareness of ASI resources and providing them with meaningful engagement and leadership opportunities.

Peak Adventures offers discounted rates to Sacramento State students on all the exciting trips they host. Whether to go hiking or skydiving, Peak Adventures has activities for all ages and skill levels. Planning on going for a bike ride this summer? The Peak Adventures Bike Shop can fix up bikes for a great deal or even build a custom bike.

Sac State Aquatic Center is a nationally recognized rowing facility holding many collegiate, open, high school and masters rowing competitions. Aquatic Center offers programs through education, recreation, and competition in the following areas: Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddling, Rowing, Water Skiing, Wakeboarding, and Jet Skiing. All of the programming offered is available to the general public, with the special benefit of Sac State students receiving discounted pricing.

  • The WELL – Facility located on campus, next to Hornet Stadium

The WELL is a part of Union WELL Inc. which is a proud member of the Sacramento State Division of Student Affairs. Union WELL Inc. exists for the benefit of students, offering a welcoming environment in which students, faculty, staff and alumni may participate in campus life. Union WELL Inc. also attracts the greater community to educational, cultural and social experiences at Sacramento State.

  • Student Shop – Office located on campus in Sequoia Hall, room 311

The Shop provides numerous services to the campus community which include retail sales of caps and gowns for students and faculty, discounted movie tickets, money orders, student health insurance, legal aid, faxing services and stamps for sale. The ASI Student Shop exists to serve you, so feel free to stop by anytime to use these great services.

The Hornet Bookstore is one-stop shop for school pride and back to school necessities. Here students will be able to stock up on scantrons and notebooks or get Hornet ready for the upcoming homecoming game. For technology needs, the Apple kiosk is set up inside the bookstore as well. Aside from apparel and electronics, upstairs students can buy and textbooks for their classes.

  • Raley’s – Store located at 2075 Fair Oaks Blvd

The Raley’s on Folsom Boulevard has been a place for Hornets’ basic grocery necessities for many years. Their vision is to “Enhance the Quality of People’s Lives.” Their mission is to be “the Place Where Customers Love to Shop and Employees Love to Work.” They value: leadership, accountability, respect, teamwork, excellence, responsibility, learning, and integrity.

University Enterprises, Inc., (UEI) Campus Dining offers dining locations throughout the north and south ends of the Sacramento State campus. With a mission to provide their patrons an excellent dining experience, they strive to provide a wide selection of affordable and quality menu items at a variety of ethnic and mainstream restaurants. Their eateries also provide special dietary options for the vegan and vegetarian members of the campus community.
