One summer, I rented a bike from peak adventures for a month and made most of the rental by biking all the way to downtown, the bike trails, and around campus. It’s an amazing way to get to know the city. It was an absolute blast! It goes without saying that biking through our beautiful city as a favorite fun summer activity.

Last summer I learned how to standup paddle board at the aquatic center. I had so much fun and can’t wait to get back on the water when I actually have a couple days off. I think my favorite time SUP last summer was when my friend and I started at the aquatic center and went all the way down to the old bridge and back. It was almost 10 miles and we were out there for 5 hours. I was as red as a lobster but it was worth it!

  33. Carla

I think the best thing to do in the summer is grab friends and family and go bowling, see the summer blockbuster movies, or go to the river and relax by the water :)

I love to just hang out during the summer, wether on the beach, by the pool, or with friends. Being in Sacramento we are always looking for ways to beat the heat, especially this summer, so I may just spend my day around the house reading or playing video games, trying to catch up on things I dont have the time to do during the school year.
