Are you a Sac State student studying or interested in communications, journalism, broadcasting, or public policy? Well if any of these interest you Capital Public Radio has an opportunity for you! They are looking for someone who is highly motivated, headstrong, and initiative driven who has a passion for public policy or radio to join their team.

Capital Public Radio, with the help of Associated Students, Inc., is offering a perfect opportunity to gain hands on experience in the world of public radio. As an intern, you will be working at the CapRadio building located right on the Sac State campus! You may end up helping out with projects for program such as Insight, The View From Here, and assisting Nick Brunner from Hey, Listen!

Once the internship is completed you will be rewarded with a $1,000 scholarship and create a portfolio that showcases the work that was done and also present it to the Capital Radio Internship Coordinator and the ASI Board of Directors.

 

This internship is open to all majors who show excellent writing and communication skills and has completed at least one semester at CSUS. The candidate must be able to work at least a minimum of 12 hours a week during the academic semester. If this opportunity interests you make a move and apply!
