I am pleased to announce the name of the recipient for the Employee of the Month:  Alma Ponce, Teacher, Children’s Center

Alma Ponce is the Casa Four Teacher for the Children’s Center.  Alma’s nominator mentioned, “She goes well beyond her duties helping students and staff.”  Her colleague mentioned, “Working at the Children’s Center for over 25 years takes a very dedicated and patient person who loves her job.”

Program Excellence Award from the Sacramento Child Care Coalition

The ASI Children’s Center was recently selected to receive the 2008 Program Excellence Award from the Sacramento Child Care Coalition. They were honored at a banquet and received congratulations from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, the Sacramento Board of Education, the California State Legislature and Representative Doris Matsui from Washington, DC
