Different, Yet United: a Panel on Diversity and Inclusivity in our Community

Posted by & filed under Buzzed, Campus Life, News.

Different, Yet United: one way to describe the Sac State student and staff population. Sac State is an incredibly diverse campus in regards to our many different backgrounds, identities, races, and more. Although we are all unique and different, we stand united as Hornets.

Different, Yet United: a Panel on Diversity and Inclusivity in our Community is a forum to discuss campus experiences and issues related to diversity, inclusion, and social justice hosted by the Student Social Justice and Equity Committee.

This panel will be composed of staff and students in leadership positions. During the forum, they will explore their paths to their roles as well as how they have exemplified and promoted diversity and inclusion through their positions.

Different, Yet United takes place on Tuesday, November 19, from 3 to 5pm in Cottonwood Suite I and II on the second floor of the University Union. Please stop by for free refreshments and great discussions with campus leaders on how they paved their way to success.
