DOC Workshops are here to help clubs in need

Posted by & filed under Buzzed, Campus Life, News, Student Government.

Does your club need funding for events, such as socials and conferences? Are you in need of additional monies for club promotion? If you answered yes to any of those questions, DOC Funding is right for you.

Dollars for Organizations and Clubs (DOC) is a reimbursement process that supports all of the clubs and organizations on campus. We provide funding for general club promotion, conferences, socials, and even banquets.

The process to receive funding through DOC is really quite simple. However, if you need application assistance or answers to specific questions, we are holding workshops to fulfill that purpose.

During our DOC Workshops, our Vice President of Finance will be teaching students the ins and outs of funding process. From the DOC Funding guidelines to the step-by-step process of completing the application—we will be covering it all. An ASI Business Office Representative will also be present to assist with any and all reimbursement questions.

The DOC Workshops will take place on the following dates:

  • Thursday, September 27 from 11am to 12pm in Orchard Suite I (University Union)
  • Tuesday, October 9 from 10:30am to 11:30am in Cypress Room (University Union)
  • Friday, November 9 from 1pm to 2pm in Orchard Suite II (University Union)

This is your opportunity to get some one-on-one time with our experts. If you are interested in attending, bring your laptop and get ready for some hands on assistance!
