Spring brings warm weather, new flowers, and the ASI Elections! The ASI election season officially kicks off this week. As the campus community strolls around the quad, they will notice that the candidates have set up large boards to promote their platforms.
The Sac State community will be given a chance to meet each candidate at events taking place this week. Coffee and Candidates kicks off the week on Wednesday, April 4th at 10am in the Union Lobby. During this event, the ASI Elections Officer will draw the names of each candidate out of a hat to see what order they will be listed on the ballot. On Thursday, April 5th at 12pm is the Spring Fling. This is an event hosted by the ASI A-Team and will take place in the Library Quad. There will be games, food, and KSSU DJ’s spinning the greatest hits. All of this is leading up to the elections on April 24th and 25th. Students will be able to vote at one of the three polling locations or from their own laptop. On the evening of April 25th, the candidates will all gather together to find out the who will take office next academic year.
