February is Financial Aid Awareness Month

The Financial Aid Office will offer several workshops in February to assist students in filling out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act application. These workshops are designed to provide hands-on assistance in filling for aid for the 2014-2015 school year.

Staff will make themselves available in the AIRC 2004 and Library 2000 computer labs between the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Feb. 17, 18, 19 and 20. Evening workshop will be available on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Mendocino 2003, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

Students should be prepared to bring: parents’ information if dependent; spouse’s information, if married; Social Security Card and driver’s license/state-issued identification; 2013 bank statements/investment records; Permanent resident alien card (if applicable); 2013 federal income tax return, W2 and/or records of any untaxed income.
