Associated Students, Inc. announces that they will be sponsoring the fifth Annual Causeway Classic Blood Drive in collaboration with BloodSource. BloodSource is committed to collecting blood donations and providing blood to nearly 40 hospitals in 25 counties. Every day approximately 40,000 pints of blood are used throughout the United States. A single donation has the potential to save as many as three lives. BloodSource is a major source around the nation and continues to aid wherever and whenever needed.

The Causeway Classic Blood Drive is a great opportunity for the Sacramento State students to give back and help the community. Also, the competition with Davis is a great bonus! LET’S BEAT DAVIS!- Daniel E. Jackson, Sacramento State Student

The event will be held on October 23 and 24 from 10a.m.- 5p.m. in the University Union Ballroom. Remember to bring a photo ID and eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating. In exchange for donating blood, BloodSource will be giving away free t-shirts, discounts, there will be drawings each day to win a variety of prizes.

Last year we raised 1,800 pints and beat UC Davis. Your donation can help save lives. So please give blood, give life, and let’s beat UC Davis again!
