We all know it’s 5 o’clock somewhere. Take the work out of after-work happy hour this summer with this guide to Sac’s best happy hours.

For the wine lover: Revolution Wines, Sacramento’s only urban winery, brings in grapes from underappreciated regions like Amador and Dry Creek. Pair with creative snacks and small plates.

Don’t miss: Releases vary. The chenin blanc is a fun and accessible white for those bored with the usual chardonnay, pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc. The syrah will give red-wine lovers the body and tannins they crave; the petit also offers a little spice.

For the beer connoisseur, Rubicon Brewing offers signature Tuesday brews at a price that’ll let you buy everyone a round of this local beer. Food can be pricey, but go around the corner to Capitol Dawg (1226 20th Street) for cheap eats from 4-8: $2.22 for capitol, turkey, or veggie dawgs; corn dawgs or veggie corn dawgs; garlic fries; double scoops of Dreyer’s ice cream.
