Higher Education Issues Take Center Stage

ASI is hosting two upcoming forums related to the recent election and passage of Prop 30.

It is being billed as a Political Palooza. Students will have an opportunity to learn more about the passage of Prop 30, and what it means for Sac State. Students will also learn how to get their $250 refund. This event is hosted by the Office of Governmental Affairs and will also feature information on the greater election results. There will be pizza and chances to win prizes. The event will take place in the Orchard Suite on the 2nd floor of the University Union.
The second event will take place on Tuesday, November 27th at 12:00pm. The EXTRA EXTRA Town Hall is hosted by the ASI A-Team and the ASI Board of Directors. This event will also help students learn more about the passage of Prop 30. It will go into detail about the possible fee increases that could be implemented by the CSU Board of Trustees. Students will gain better understanding of the ways that they can become active forces in current issues facing higher education. It will be taking place in the Orchard Suite on the 2nd floor of the University Union.
