Jam out at the annual Dance Marathon: Silent Disco!

Posted by & filed under Buzzed, Campus Life.

Homecoming Week is here, which means our annual Dance Marathon is on its way!

This event is hosted by KSSU Radio, the Residence Hall Association, and Sac State’s Alumni Center. We’re revamping this year’s Dance Marathon by turning it into a silent disco. If you’ve never been to a silent disco before, don’t worry! It is a fun new twist on your garden variety dance party.

Dance Marathon will have three different KSSU DJs live mixing instead of just one. Party goers will be given special headphones that will allow them to choose which channel or DJ they want to dance to.

Are you and your friends into very different music genres? Have you had trouble finding a place where you can all dance in harmony together? With Dance Marathon that won’t be a problem! You and your buddies can stick together all night long dancing to whatever your heart and ears fancy.

Dance Marathon takes place on Friday, October 19, at the Dining Commons in the Residence Halls. The event starts at 9:30pm and will run all night until 1am. There will be food, games, and a whole lot of fun. We hope to see you there!

This event will be for current Sacramento State students only, make sure to arrive early!

Do we need to rsvp, and is this event open to all sac state students and their non student relationship partners?

You do not need to RSVP ahead of time. This event is open to all Sac State students. As long as you have your OneCard, you will be good to go!
