Posted by & filed under Buzzed, News.

The ASI Farmers Market is in full swing with items that everyone can enjoy. There are fresh vegetables, flowers, bread, and of course JAM! We put our staff to work and sampled some of the breads and jams offered at the ASI Farmers Market.

Thimbleberry Cottage Preserves

IMG_8938eThimbleberry Cottage Preserves is run by a husband and wife team from Sacramento. They make all their jams, marmalades, and jellies in their home kitchen. We decided to sample their Raspberry Jam on Honey Whole Wheat bread from Edith’s Gourmet Baking Company.

Here is what the staff had to say about the jam:

“Soooo good” , “Very flavorful, you can really taste the raspberries” ,  “Sweet & tart at the same time” , “Very fresh” , “I can’t wait to try the others”

You can pick up a 8oz jam, marmalade, or jelly at the ASI Farmers Market for only $7.00 – Or see below to learn how you can win one!

EDITH’S GOURMET BAKING COMPANY

Because it is October, we decided to try their fresh baked Pumpkin Bread. Here is what our staff thought about it:

“I love the different spices”, “Very moist”, “Tastes like the Fall”, “Great texture”, “Super fresh”

The prices range from $3.00 – $7.00 depending on what you end up getting. There is a deal when you buy two loafs.

I would have to say one of my favorite things from the Farmer’s Market is Edith’s Gourment Baking Company. They have the most delicious and wide selection of bread. I love their monkey bread, their chocolate zucchini bread, their pumpkin bread, and their pizza bread. They’re all amazing! I can eat them all day!
