Help Wanted: Vice president of academic Affairs📚
The ASI Board of Directors are on the hunt to find the perfect candidate to fill the position for Vice President of Academic Affairs(VPAA). Some duties as the VP of Academic Affairs would be sitting on the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and handling issues regarding academic issues, such as; general education requirements, class impaction, and graduation initiatives. With this position comes great responsibility and dedication, the VPAA shall sit as a member on at least one of the following committees: Faculty Senate Standing Policy Committees (Academic Policies Committee, G.E./Graduation Policies Requirement Committee, Faculty Policies Committee, Curriculum Policies Committee, Graduate Studies Policies Committee.)

In order to apply, there are a few requirements for this position:
- An eligible student candidate would need to have a minimum of 45 recognized units with Sacramento State.
- Candidates must be currently enrolled and meet the same qualifications as current ASI Board members.
- All eligible Board members must have been enrolled in Sac State in both spring 2017 and fall 2016 and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
