PUBLIC RELATIONS STUDENT SOCIETY OF AMERICA:

Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is the country’s premier pre-professional organization for students interested in Public Relations and Communications. So, what is public relations? “Public Relations is a strimg-7648_origategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.”

In 2006, Ryan Smith, a former student of California State University Sacramento and current Professor, Timothy Howard worked together to found our PRSSA Chapter here at Sacramento State. Though the title of the club expresses Public Relations, we are a club that fits most Arts and Letters majors. We offer our members a chance to explore different career paths, strengthen their skills and weaknesses, and get a jump start on their dream job. The club was built on the purpose of being a learning experience for students to take with them past their years spent at Sacramento State. Together we network, bond, and discover new things about ourselves and much more.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Putting  the PR in Productivity, Perseverance, and Professionalism.

MEETING TIME/LOCATION:
