2. California Department of Education subsidized child care applicants.

3. Sacramento State Students from the waiting list.

4. Sacramento State staff/Faculty from the waiting list.

Procedures

 1. The Wait list is in effect for one year only. (August 1-July 31 of specific year)

Waitlist OpensEnrollment
August 1, 2011 Spring & Fall 2012
August 1, 2012 Spring & Fall 2013

2. All families wanting to continue on the wait list will need to re-apply each year starting August 1 (or the following Monday if it falls on a weekend). (Early applications will not be accepted.)

* Families that are currently on the wait list will be able to maintain their priority on the list if they reapply during the first five business days in August.

3. The wait list fee is $10 each year and is non-refundable. Checks and credit cards are accepted. No cash is accepted.

4. Due to limited spaces available each semester, families on the wait list will be notified by letter about possible space availability according to the date in which they got onto the wait list. This will take place during the months of January (for Spring Semester enrollment) and July (for Fall Semester enrollment).

*Please note: not all families will be contacted.

5. A separate wait list and wait list process is in place for those who are requesting
subsidy assistance.

3. As subsidized spaces become open, families on the wait list will be notified by letter or phone according to their rank. (The gross household income and the number of individuals in the household establish rank.) This will take place during the months of January (for Spring Semester enrollment) and June/July (for Fall Semester enrollment), or as spaces become available during the semester.
Applications that hold the same rank will be kept in order according to the date in which the wait list application was received.

4. Household income will be verified prior to enrollment. Wait list ranking may change based on actual income and thus give enrollment priority to a family with a lower rank.
