Public Radio Experience (P.R.E.) Internship

Calling all Sac State students, interested in or majoring in communications, journalism, broadcasting, and public policy! If you are a motivated, headstrong, and initiative driven individual that wants to get into public policy or radio then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Capital Public Radio, with the help of Associated Students, Inc., is offering an internship opportunity that will give you hands on experience in public radio. As an intern you will be working at the CapRadio building on campus,  while helping out with work on projects for programs such as Insight, The View From Here, and assisting Nick Brunner from Hey, Listen!

Upon completion of the internship, you will be rewarded with a $1,000 scholarship and create a portfolio of your work to present to the Capital Radio Internship Coordinator and the ASI Board of Directors.

Capital Public Radio is looking for a candidate who has excellent writing and communication skills, has completed at least one semester at CSUS, and will available for a minimum 12 hours a week during an academic semester. An interest in communications, broadcasting, journalism, and public policy is a plus.
