Seeking Student Participants for Research Symposium

2017_savethedate-proof1 (1)The annual Student Research Symposium at Sacramento State celebrates and recognizes outstanding scholarly accomplishments, providing students with an opportunity to present their research, scholarly and creative activities to the campus community in both oral and poster presentation format on Tuesday, March 7th, at the University Union.

REGISTRATION

Symposium registration is open to all current undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from all disciplines as well as alumni who received their degrees in 2016. The registration deadline for student participants is February 7th.  Registration is available at bit.ly/sympASI. Event details and the schedule will continue to be updated.

AWARDS

Monetary awards of $500 will be made to the top two student participants (or student teams) in the Symposium’s undergraduate and graduate divisions for those students making oral presentations who elect to be judged. Faculty mentors (or team mentors) will receive $500 in professional development funds.
Awards of $250 will be given to the top two undergraduate and graduate students (or student teams) making poster presentations at the Symposium who elect to be judged. Faculty mentors (or mentor teams) will receive $250 in professional development funds.
