Who you gonna call? ASI Safe Rides

Don’t bet your life getting behind the wheel or in the car with someone who is not 100 percent sober. Money shouldn’t be an issue when trying to get home safely. If you have to think twice about it, it is NOT safe. ASI Safe Rides is offering FREE RIDES home during homecoming tailgate. Get a lift home provided by your fellow Sacramento State student volunteers on Saturday, October 14, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. If you are at homecoming and are looking to use Safe Rides, all you need to do is call (916) 278-TAXI (8294) or present your OneCard to the receiving table in front of the Alumni Center. Homecoming only has room for school pride, golden memories, and accident-free fun!

The ASI Safe Rides Program provides free, safe, and confidential rides home to the students, staff, and faculty of Sacramento State. Safe Rides operates from September through May on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 10:00pm to 2:00am. Safe Rides is always looking for volunteers to help make the Sacramento State community feel more safe. If you are looking to volunteer, Safe Rides allows both group and individual volunteers. For more information on Safe Rides or to sign-up to volunteer, go to the ASI website and click on the “Safe Rides” tab labeled underneath “Programs”.
