Internship Opportunities

ASI has the ability to connect students in internships all over the campus community. We are known for connecting with our ASI alumni, which we are proud to say are all over the Sacramento State area, and beyond.

OGA can provide students with a roadmap towards a variety of different internships both on and off-campus.

Current Internships:

PRE CapitAl Public Radio Internship

Capital Public Radio in collaboration with Associated Students, Inc. seeks bright, dynamic and motivated intern who wants to gain hands-on, resume-building experience in public radio. Intern provides administrative and production support to various departments of Capital Public Radio.

Still are not sure if this internship is for you? Read below for more details.

Are you interested in what it takes to run a radio station?
Learn to engage membership and listeners, shadow the different positions in and out of the office, have a say in program development and most important, receive extra time in the area that interest you the most.

Here is what one of our recent interns shared about her experience.

“With the Public Radio Experience; I had the opportunity to learn that there was a lot more to radio then what you hear. The behind the scenes work is what gets things going and a lot of fun,” shared Kaitlin, PRE Capital Public Radio Intern, fall 2014.
