With finals right around the corner, students need time to “study”. Whether it’s cramming an extra 15 minutes in between your Call of Duty games or checking your Facebook after sleeping in class, there are plenty of ways to find that extra time in your day.
Fold your laundry
This may seem like something out of a Captain Obvious How-To book but keeping organized can really save you time. You don’t have to go psycho and organize your clothes by color, pattern, or plan your outfits for each day of the week, you just need to prevent yourself from leaving that warm pile of clothes on your bed.
While you are in between classes, in a car, or on a random Target run, check your emails and social media on your phone. Doing this will prevent you from checking it when you have work to do. We’re not suggesting that you text and drive, but looking through your Instagram while your friend is driving you to Chipotle is optimal.
Make a to-do list
Make a list of what you need to do each day. Check your list often. Finish your smaller tasks first before tackling a big project that may take time. Breaking up your day into bits and pieces will allow you to make sure that you get things done.
Plan your meals
Planning your meals ahead of time may also sound tedious, but it’s a huge time saver. Use a slow cooker to make multiple meals for the week or get a sandwich assembly line ready. Planning your grub time is not ony a time saver, but it’s cheaper since you won’t be ordering fast food as much.
