Trendy Vintage Summer Hot Spots

Canadian artist Frances Elizabeth Strathern once said,

I believe that art is needed to preserve the uniqueness of our human spirit. Economic globalization has resulted in a world where everyone is encouraged to buy the same products and think and act in the same ways. Artistic creation by its nature is unique. Our hunger for the special, the unique, the innovative, the one of a kind, will become greater as forces try to move people towards homogeneity. Art is the antidote a bland world.

ImageSummertime is the perfect time to live like a free-spirited vagabond, by living life unconventionally and engulfing oneself in literary, artistic, and soul-searching pursuits. The hectic routine of the academic year is temporarily dormant, the weather is beautiful, and we have all this free time to hang out with our friends, as well as the time to understand ourselves in relation to our cultural and social worlds a little bit better. Uncover your passions and your deepest desires by being inspired by historic, unorthodox, expressions of art and scholasticism designed to stimulate serendipity and life changing epiphanies. Going to places like bookstores, museums, coffee shops, and thrift stores are hip ways to get a creative edge for the fall semester and great places to kick back with your closest friends. This article features a list of awesome places in Sacramento to definitely check out this summer!
