For the past four years, tuition has been held at a constant rate. Beginning the next academic year (2017-2018), the tuition freeze that has been keeping it steady is set to expire.
This potential tuition increase affects everyone on campus. It is important for the individuals who represent you to know how this could possibly affect you. A public forum will be held on campus to learn more about the possible increase, to voice your opinion, and current efforts from preventing the increase from happening.
ASI President Patrick Dorsey, ASI Business Director/VP of Finance for the California State Student Association Mia Kagianas. and Sac State President Nelsen will be attending and speaking at this event. There will also be a portion of the forum for attendees to ask questions, so be sure to attend to make sure your voice is heard!
The forum will be held December 5th in the Orchard Suite (2nd floor Union) from 2:00 to 3:00pm.
