Your Voice Matters, take the Student Voice Survey

Posted by & filed under Buzzed, Campus Life, News, Student Government, Tips/Advice.

Here at Associated Students, Inc. (ASI), we care about the students and want your voice to be heard. Though some may not know it, by paying the student fees, all students are a part of ASI. We serve as the governing body for all Sacramento State students. Essentially, ASI is here to better the Sacramento State experience through all of the programs and services offered. However, we want to know what you think. We are here for you, so let us know how we can better serve you, the student body. Your thoughts and opinions will help us better understand what we need to do resolve your concerns and implement your requests.

Take the survey and you could win one of the many prizes*, listed below:

  • Semester Parking Passes (5 available)
  • $50 Hornet Bookstore Gift Cards (4 available)
  • Amazon Echos (2 available)
  • Stand Up Paddling Class – 3 hours (2 available)
  • $10 campus eatery gift card (15 available)
  • $50 Peak Adventures Outdoor Trip or Bike Shop voucher (1 available)
  • MUCH, MUCH MORE!

* Must be a current Sac State student.

ASI is amazing. The only concern I have had is that I’ve wanted to work for them, not government position, but in the offices and I have tried to apply but I can never find the area online to apply. Other than that they are amazing, incredibly friendly, and informative.

I think ASI has a great presence on campus during election season and throughout the semester. There are a lot of great services ASI provides for its students. I think it would be great to have an event where ASI and all of its branches put on a multi day event with different days showing off different parts of what ASI has to offer, whether it be workshops at the hotspot, climbing with Peak, or exploring the food pantry, because some students may not know what they can get out of this student organization.

I am very saddened to learn about the raise of tuition they want to and although I know the school does not have much ways to prevent it, I hope that there will be more resources available to students and that we would actually be notified of what is going on and what resources are available out there. This is barely my second semester in this university and it was hard for me to find my way into knowing the perks and resources available at the University. That being said Sac State is an amazing University and I am extremely lucky to be part of this community.
