For Students

For Students

We realize that college isn’t just about getting an education, it should also be about all the things you do outside the classroom. We help you succeed by enhancing your collegiate experience.

For Students By Students

When you arrive on campus, we want to meet you. We have many opportunities for you to get involved. You can plan events, run for office, or work with us. We even provide scholarships to ease the financial burden. The ASI Student Government is elected each year to represent your voice on campus.

We offer great outdoor recreational activities through Peak Adventures and the Aquatic Center. We have an award winning radio station, and our Children’s Center will watch your little Hornets while you attend class.

The ASI Food Pantry provides food and basic necessities at no cost to Sac State students. The Food Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food insecurities have on the academic success of Sac State students.

Our Student Shop sells discounted movie tickets, special event tickets, health insurance, and offers free legal aid. It is also your one stop shop for graduation apparel.

From point A to Z, we have all of your student needs and wants covered!

For Clubs & Organizations

We offer clubs and organizations multiple ways to receive funding for activities and events. We also have community service opportunities, campus events, and outreach opportunities.

ASI resources for Clubs & Organizations

Being a member of a club or organization has many rewards. Our main purpose is to offer clubs and organizations multiple opportunities to receive funding for club activities and events. In addition to funding, we have service events, group activities, and a lot more.

ASI Dollars for Organizations and Clubs (DOC) can help your club or organization get the money it needs for the semester.  If you plan on receiving or spending any money from ASI, you will want to establish an account with the ASI Business Office by filling out the Club Agreement Form (CAF).

ASI offers great team building and social activities. Nothing will bring your club together like the high and low elements at the Peak Adventures Challenge Center, which empowers you and your team to achieve greater results through a personalized learning experience. We also offer a fun three-hour obstacle course on water. Take the plunge at our Aquatic Center, just a short drive off campus.

For Campus Departments

For Campus Programs
& Departments

Our goal of fostering campus life can only be met through the combined efforts of various programs and departments throughout campus.

Reaching out to Campus Programs & Departments

Each fiscal year we allocate funds, through the External Grant program, to a variety of different on-campus programs and departments. Your campus departments can partner with us to offer students internship and volunteer opportunities that support instruction. Some of these opportunities include the Children Center, Student Government Committees & Events, and the ASI A-Team.

We provide a variety of different team building and leadership programs at ASI’s Peak Adventures and the Sac State Aquatic Center. These programs offer unique opportunities to increase the efficiency and collaboration of your program or department.

Campus programs and departments can give back by donating items to the ASI Food Pantry. Throughout the year there are opportunities for programs to come together and help support Sac State students who face food insecurities.

Our online magazine, WLP (Work, Learn, Play) reaches a large population of students at Sac State online. There are a number of opportunities for your campus program or department to be included in this publication.
